SAN ANTONIO – Three people were injured Monday in a two-vehicle crash in East Bexar County.
Officials said a green compact vehicle was traveling eastbound on Highway 87 when it ran a red light at Stuart Road and broadsided a Nissan car.

The driver of the green vehicle was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center, officials said.
A 17-year-old girl in the Nissan was airlifted to University Hospital suffering from back pain, officials said.
The girl's father was also hospitalized, although none of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening.
