4 Canyon Lake High students face disciplinary action after overdosing on pills on campus

COMAL COUNTY, Texas – Four students from Canyon Lake High School are facing disciplinary action for taking prescription pills on campus and then overdosing.

A spokesman for the Comal Independent School District said Wednesday, a student brought muscle relaxers to school, and he and three other students took the medicine.

The students then began to have breathing problems and passed out.

Three of the students were taken to the hospital. They are all recovering.

The Comal County Sheriff's Office will determine if the students will face any charges.
