ATASCOSA COUNTY, Texas - After a seven-hour, multiagency manhunt, the Atascosa County Sheriff's Office still hasn't found the man they're calling armed and dangerous.

Crime Stoppers is offered a $5,000 reward for the arrest of 25-year-old Omar Cardenas-Navarrete, who goes by Omar Cardenas.

He's had a warrant out for his arrest since July for an aggravated robbery in Pleasanton, authorities said.

Authorities searched for Cardenas Monday evening along Highway 16. Sheriff David Soward said Cardenas was with four others when they were pulled over. They all bailed.

Officers caught three undocumented immigrants and the driver, but Cardenas got away.

Cardenas has brown hair, brown eyes, is 5 feet 8 inches and weighs about 180 pounds. If you recognize him, call 830-769-2255.
