Bexar County to host grand opening ceremony for new Precinct 3 office

Offices were moved to better provide provide services

SAN ANTONIO - Bexar County is holding a grand opening ceremony for its new Precinct 3 office on Wednesday morning.

The event will take place at 10 a.m. in the 320 block of Interpark Boulevard, not far from Highway 281 and Wurzbach Parkway.

According to a press release, the Justice of the Peace and Constable's offices were moved in an effort to modernize and better provide services to residents.

Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff, Precinct 3 Commissioner Kevin Wolff, Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace Judge Jeff Wentworth and Precinct 3 Constable Mark Vojvodich are all expected to be in attendance.

The Justice of the Peace sits as a magistrate for cases such as juvenile warnings, civil disputes and small claims, traffic violations, minors in possession of alcohol, and in addition, performs marriage ceremonies, and serves as a notary public.
