Body found in Converse pond ID'd

Police also found a Chevy Impala at the bottom of stock tank

CONVERSE, Texas – UPDATE:

The body of a man found in a stock pond in Converse on Sunday has been identified by Converse Police as Zachary Mickles, 25. 

PREVIOUSLY:

Converse police are investigating after a body was found floating in a stock pond.

Police said the body was found off of Brucks Drive near Seguin Road.

Police said they found the body when they arrived at the pond and called emergency crews to help retrieve the body.

Emergency crews found a silver Chevy Impala at the bottom of the stock tank, which they also pulled out of the water.

Police said the man had no identification on him.

While a local family has reported that their 25-year-old son is missing, police said they are not linking the two cases together at this time.
