SAN ANTONIO – More than 1,000 people gathered at Our Lady of Lourdes grotto Monday for the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
A special mass was held at the parish on Blanco Road.

The ceremony was complete with mariachis, and after the Mass a new Plaza de Tepeyac was dedicated and blessed.
"This is going to be a place to get together, to be as a family, to look at the Our Lady of Guadalupe and tell her to look at us," Father Saturnino Lajo said.
Lajo said the message of our Lady of Guadalupe is a message of love and compassion, one that is especially important in today’s time.
