Caught on camera: Burglars stole money, electronics from church, SAPD says

Reward offered for information leading to arrest

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are on the lookout for a man who was caught on video stealing from a church.

Police released an image of the man who they said broke into the University United Methodist Church on July 28, pried open the door to the accounting office and stole money.

The man then fled the church in a unknown direction. The church is located in the 5000 block of DeZavala Road.

Three days later, police said a man was caught on camera stealing the church's electronics. It's unknown if it's the same burglary suspect.

Anyone with information on these cases is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-7867 (STOP).

Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information which leads to the arrest of the person or people responsible for this burglary. Tips can remain anonymous.
