Investigators said an alleged suspect showed up to the detention center to pick up some of his things from a previous stay after bonding out of jail. During a phone call, the Sheriff's Office said, Saldivar gave Haynes a heads up that there was a warrant out for his arrest.

The alleged suspect tried to run but was caught near the detention center.

The Bexar County District Attorney's Office issued a statement saying: “After reviewing the case and discussing the facts with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, the case was rejected due to insufficient evidence to prove a criminal offense occurred beyond a reasonable doubt.”
