The plastic layer covers the various graphics printed on the plates and bowls, including giraffes, cars, princesses, superheroes, etc.

Playtex is written on the bottom of the dishes, which have a non-slip bottom and colored rim on top.

These dishes were sold at Babies “R” Us, Target, Walmart and various stores nationwide as well as online at Amazon.com.

The dishes have been available for purchase from October 2009 to August 2017 so it’s important to retroactively check cabinets for the potentially hazardous plates and bowls.
