SAN ANTONIO - A convicted sex offender who goes by the name "Wizard" has pulled a vanishing act on law enforcement officers.

Michael Roy Plumlee, 48, has been wanted since October 2016 on a charge of failure to comply with sex offender registration conditions.

As KSAT-12 first reported in December, Plumlee was convicted in 1999 for indecency with a 6-year-old girl by sexual contact. He served eight years in prison and was required to register as a sex offender annually for life.

Court records show Plumlee was sentenced to two years in prison in 2009 for violating the sex offender registration rules.

The state's public sex offender registry site shows Plumlee registered an address with San Antonio police in October 2015, but he has not reported to any agency since then.

Plumlee is 6 feet tall and weighs 165 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. His last known address was on the North Side of San Antonio.

If you have any information on Plumlee's whereabouts, call the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at 210-657-8500.
