SAN ANTONIO - Law officers had been looking for Juan Jesus Rodriguez for more than one year, but within a day of his appearance on KSAT 12 the fugitive turned himself in to authorities.
Rodriguez, 42, was indicted in August 2017 on a charge of injury to a child under the age of 14 by intent. With a warrant out for his arrest, Rodriguez couldn't be found by officers.
He was featured on KSAT-12 Tuesday in a regular fugitive segment with the U.S. Marshals Service's Lone Star Fugitive Task Force. Rodriguez was among those who saw the story, said Deputy Chris Bozeman.
"(Rodriguez) turned himself in yesterday after seeing his wanted poster aired on the news," Bozeman said.
Rodriguez has posted a $15,000 bond on the charge.
