Ramon Salazar Jr., whom sheriff's officials said was the triggerman, was arrested March 3.

Hughes said Salazar shot Jimmy Nunez, 36, Jan. 27 inside a mobile home that had been converted into an eight-liner game room in the 2700 block of Oak Island Drive.

According to an arrest affidavit, Ivarra confessed his role in the crime last week after contacting a homicide detective to tell his side of the story.

Ivarra said he went to the gaming room with Salazar with the intent to commit a robbery.

Ivarra admitted to taking a purse in the robbery and to having a hand gun. He told the detective that he pawned the gun the next day. Investigators have recovered the gun as evidence.

Ivarra and Salazar are charged with capital murder.
