Sex offender with ties to North SA accused of violating terms of release

SAN ANTONIO – A convicted sex offender is facing a new charge for violating terms of his release. First, officers will have to find him.

Gary Thomas Crayton, 36, was sentenced to five years probation for sexually assaulting a young girl. He was required to register as a sex offender.

"In August 2016, a warrant was issued for Crayton's arrest because he allegedly failed to comply with sex offender registration conditions and absconded from supervision," said Deputy United States Marshal Chris Bozeman.

Crayton's last known address was on the city's north side.

Crayton is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has brown eyes and is bald.
