Woman accused of violating sex offender registration rules

Patricia Almaguer, 52, previously convicted of indecency with child

SAN ANTONIO – A registered sex offender who is supposed to tell law enforcement authorities where she's living is wanted for failing to do that.

Patricia Almaguer, 52, was convicted in 2005 of exposing herself to a 14-year-old girl. She received 10 years' probation and is required to register as a sex offender until 2025. The state's sex offender registry site shows Almaguer last reported her whereabouts to San Antonio police in 2010.

"A warrant was issued for Almaguer's arrest following an indictment filed with the Bexar County District Court. The indictment alleged that Almaguer failed to comply with sex offender registration conditions and absconded from supervision," said Deputy U.S. Marshal Chris Bozeman.

Almaguer has black hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds.

"Her last known place of residence was on the West Side of San Antonio," Bozeman said.

If you have any information on her whereabouts, call the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at 210-657-8500.
