Suspect caught on surveillance camera

SAN ANTONIO – A man was caught on surveillance camera robbing a Corner Food Mart in San Antonio, police said Tuesday.

The aggravated robbery took place just after 10 p.m. May 28 at 5303 Blanco Road, according to a news release from Crime Stoppers.

The man demanded money from a cashier and lifted his sweatshirt to display a handgun in his waistband, investigators said.

The cashier feared for his life and placed the money from the register on the counter.

The man grabbed the cash and took off running. He’s described as being 25 to 30 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds, Crime Stoppers said.

The group is offering up to $5,000 to the person who can identify this suspect.
