Crime Stoppers seek tips in August 1 fatal shooting

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers want the public’s assistance in tracking down the person responsible for a fatal shooting.

Manuel Rios, 51, was shot and killed around 4 a.m. on Aug 1. in the 4600 block of Dietrich Road on the city's East Side.

According to police, Rios was last seen around 3:30 a.m. leaving his apartment for a bus stop.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.

Tips can also be texted to CRIMES (274637) or by visiting the Crime Stoppers website.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
