David Molak's family to give first nationally televised interview on 'T.D. Jakes Show'

Benefit concert to be held Monday

SAN ANTONIO – David Molak’s family is getting ready for its first national interview, which is set to air next week on the "T.D. Jakes Show."

Maurine Molak and her husband lost their son, David, after he died by suicide earlier this year. They said the Alamo Heights student was the victim of cyberbullies.

Maurine Molak said the interview was difficult but necessary. It will air on Monday, which would have been David Molak’s 17th birthday.

People can watch the "T.D. Jakes Show" and that interview on KSAT 12 at 3 p.m.

Also on Monday, a benefit concert will be held in memory of David Molak. The concert will feature musicians from the San Antonio Symphony and will benefit the David’s Legacy Foundation.
