SAN ANTONIO – A driver has been arrested, accused of leading troopers on a high-speed vehicle chase overnight, the Texas Department of Public Safety said Thursday.
The incident began just before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday near North Zarzamora and Woodlawn Avenue on the city's West Side.
Officials said the driver went east on Woodlawn past Interstate 10 and San Pedro Avenue before turning onto McCullough.

The driver eventually was forced to turn into Olmos Park due to road construction and tried cutting through a parking lot before hitting a telephone pole, officials said.
The man then bailed from his vehicle before being caught near an H-E-B grocery store.
At this time, it is not known why officials were chasing the suspect.
No one was hurt.
