Driver crashes into gas line, causes leak

Incident began just before 12:30 a.m. in 1400 block NW Military

SAN ANTONIO – A driver lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a gas line during a road rage incident overnight, San Antonio police said Wednesday.

The incident began just before 12:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of Northwest Military at Huebner Road.

Police said a domestic disturbance first led to the road rage incident before the crash. The driver of the vehicle then hit a three-quarter inch gas line causing a sizable leak, police said.

Officials evacuated the area until CPS Energy could shut the gas line off.

No one was hurt in the accident.
