SAN ANTONIO – A driver is facing trouble with the law after leading Department of Public Safety troopers on a chase Friday night.
Troopers saw a pickup truck driver swerving in Guadalupe County and started chasing him.

Troopers followed him into Bexar County, where the driver took the exit from Interstate 10 to Loop 410 North.
DPS said the driver eventually lost control and crashed into a grassy ditch. His truck caught fire and he managed to escape the vehicle. He then attempted to escape law enforcement officials, DPS said.
The man was caught and taken back to Guadalupe County.
