Family prays for woman who disappeared three years ago

Pauline Diaz disappeared from job at H-E-B

A vigil was held Saturday night for a woman who disappeared three years ago after leaving work.

On December 7, 2010, Pauline Diaz, a local H-E-B employee, left the store on Southeast Military and Goliad, and was never seen or heard from again.

A special mass was held at Mission San Juan Capistrano Church Saturday, where loved ones prayed for Diaz.

Her family has done everything they can to find her, but still there are no new leads in the case. They said they still have hope she will return home some day.

"I'm doing this for my mother so that people know that we're still looking for her, she is still loved and is not forgotten and that someone comes out and tells us where she's at," said Juanita Diaz, Pauline Diaz' daughter. "Each and every day this is hard for all of us to not have her. She is everything to us."

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information that successfully leads to her whereabouts.
