SAN ANTONIO - It's been four years since Pauline Diaz disappeared, but her family has not given up their search to find her.
"We've dug ravines, we've gone all over, we've hired detectives, and we're not stopping," said Paula Diaz-Martinez, Pualine's daughter. "One day there will be an answer."
Surveillance video captured Pauline Diaz leaving an HEB on Goliad Road on Dec. 4, 2010. She crossed the parking lot and made it to her white pickup. The video shows Diaz talking with a woman who followed her out of the store. Moments later Diaz was gone.
"We don't know what happened," her daughter said.
A few days later, Diaz's son discovered her truck abandoned on the side of the highway.
As the family huddled inside Mission San Juan Capistrano Sunday to mark the 4-year anniversary of her disappearance, they lifted their voices in prayer, asking God to bring their mother home.
"We've hit emotions that we didn't even know existed," Paula said. "We have to be strong and keep it going. We take her strength and keep on fighting."
A $20,000 reward is being offered for any information that directly leads to Diaz's whereabouts, or to the individual involved in her disappearance. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP.
