SAN ANTONIO – A former Bexar County Emergency Services District administrator was indicted this week on multiple charges and is now considered a fugitive, a spokeswoman with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office confirmed Wednesday.
Gil Perez, who at one point worked for six of the county's 12 ESDs, was indicted Monday on three charges related to a 2015 Texas Rangers investigation, multiple sources have confirmed.

An 18-page search warrant detailed the more than 40 pieces of evidence taken from Perez's home in October 2015.
The seized evidence included bank statements and computer equipment.
The Bexar County District Attorney's Office declined comment this week, since Perez has yet to be taken into custody.
Perez has repeatedly declined to discuss the Rangers investigation when reached by KSAT 12 in the past.
He came under the scrutiny of law enforcement after a county audit found discrepancies within multiple ESDs Perez was affiliated with.
According to the search warrant, more than 390 checks from three ESDs Perez worked for were out of sequence.
ESDs provide essential fire and medical services to sections of unincorporated Bexar County but tend to face little oversight.
