Help wanted in fatal shooting of 18-year-old on Northeast Side

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help in an unsolved fatal shooting on the city's Northeast Side.

Jai Turner, 18, was shot and killed Jan. 21 around 1 p.m. at the Windcrest Apartments located in the 5300 block of Gawain Dr.

According to police, Turner was shot after walking with an unknown person from Midcrown to Bellevue. A witness saw somebody fleeing the scene.

Anyone with any knowledge of the murder is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.

Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
