Here's what we know about Wednesday's fatal church bus crash

13 killed, 2 injured in wreck between bus, pickup truck west of San Antonio

CONCAN, Texas – Thirteen people were killed and another severely injured in a crash Wednesday involving members from a New Braunfels church.

As National Transportation Safety Board investigators begin the slow process of sifting through the wreckage to determine the cause of the crash, here's everything we know about the fatal crash:

  • Cristie Clare Moore, 68, of Cibolo
  • Donna Elizabeth Hawkins, 69, of Schertz
  • Avis Scholl Banks, 83, of Austin
  • Mildred Goodlett Rosamond, 87, of New Braunfels
  • Addie Maurine Schmeltekopf, 84, of New Braunfels (died At University Hospital in San Antonio)
  • Sue Wynn Tysdal, 76, of New Braunfels
  • Martha Holcomb Walker, 84, of New Braunfels
  • Dorothy Fern Vulliet, 84, of New Braunfels
  • Rose Mary Harris, 64, of New Braunfels (remains stable at San Antonio Military Medical Center)
