HOUSTON – A Houston fire employee has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a girl between the ages of 14 and 17, the Harris County Sheriff's Office said.
Brandon Ramirez, 27, started talking to the girl using a social media app, the sheriff's office said. Ramirez allegedly sent explicit pictures and videos of himself to the girl.

After communicating for weeks, Ramirez and the girl met in person and engaged in a sexual encounter, the sheriff's office said.
Ramirez is scheduled to be in court Monday.
