The president of the food bank said part of creating good holiday memories includes sitting around a table, enjoying a good meal with family.

“For so many families, they lack the basic ingredients to pull them to the table. Through Bank of America’s partnership, we’re ensuring that everybody has the right food this holiday season to have those kinds of memories. It’s more than just nourishing their bodies. It’s nourishing their minds and their spirits and, honestly, giving them hope,” said Eric Cooper, president and CEO of the San Antonio Food Bank.

Soldiers’ Angels was also awarded a $10,000 grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation for its work helping military men and women, veterans and their families.
