Information sought by police in 2016 murder of 23-year-old man

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are asking for the public's help in solving a nearly two-year-old murder case.

The fatal shooting occurred Sept. 15, 2016 at the Oak Hills Apartments located in the 2300 block of Northwest Military.

According to police, the victim, 23-year-old Tony Alexis, was shot during a home invasion. Police said Alexis was in bed when two unknown men forced entry into the apartment and confronted him before shooting him.

An unknown amount of cash was also stolen from the apartment. Police believe the same suspects robbed Alexis 90 days earlier on June 15, 2016 when his vehicle was stolen.
