SAN ANTONIO – A man is recovering in the hospital after he was hit by a train on the city's East Side.
The incident happened around 12:15 p.m. Friday.

Police said the man was walking along the tracks on Pine Street and Sherman when he was struck.
Officers said the man was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Union Pacific Railroad police are investigating the crash.
