Some children falling behind on necessary vaccinations amid the pandemic, doctors say

SAN ANTONIO – While everyone is fixated on expanding COVID-19 testing and the development of a vaccine, some doctors worry other vaccines are taking a backseat.

The trend seen at local pediatrician offices is fewer parents are taking in their children for their wellness visits. That means a good number of families may be behind on their children's vaccines before school starts up again.
