Police say the bullet left the man with a pretty serious wound, but he is expected to recover.

SAN ANTONIO – The suspect accused of shooting a man in the face at a West Side apartment complex is still at large, San Antonio police said on Sunday.

The man was shot in the 2900 block of South Laredo Street at the Cassiano Home Apartments, but investigators are still unsure of where the shooting took place at the complex.

According to police, the man was at the complex to visit his sister. That’s when the man got into an argument with a woman and her boyfriend overheard the confrontation, grabbed his gun and fired at the man several times, grazing his cheek once.

After the shooting, the man drove to his home in the 800 block of Darby Boulevard before 2:45 a.m. Sunday morning and called police.
