A report from SAPD states that officers responded to the home after receiving a call about two men shooting in a front yard.

They were standing at the back of a truck in the driveway when officers arrived, according to SAPD.

An officer got out of his patrol car and saw one of the men “rack” a handgun and point it at him, police said.

The officer then fired one shot at the man, and the man lowered the gun, according to investigators. The report does not say which suspect aimed the gun at the officer.

The two men were taken to the ground at gunpoint by officers and were arrested. No one was injured in the incident.

Police said a loaded handgun was found on the truck’s tailgate. A magazine and “numerous shell casings” were also found scattered near the truck.
