SAN ANTONIO – A woman was stabbed during a disturbance at a Northeast Side home on Tuesday, according to San Antonio police.

The incident happened after 10 a.m. in the 4800 block of Castle Arms, not far from Rittiman and Gibbs Sprawl roads.

SAPD said details about the incident are unknown at this time, but the woman, 50, was stabbed in her chest. She was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said the incident is possibly connected to an argument over property and may have involved the woman’s ex-boyfriend. However, the other person involved in the stabbing was not at the home when officers arrived.

It is unclear if that person left the residence in a vehicle or on foot.

The woman’s son was inside the home at the time of the stabbing but did not witness the incident, police said.

No further information was released.
