This year, the zoo will debut a new Día de los Muertos-inspired festival called Fiesta de Los Muertos. The experience will feature vibrant cultural art, live entertainment and more.
Fiesta de los Muertos will allow guests to explore spaces including Plaza de los Recuerdos, where they can cross the Marigold Bridge and visit the Ofrenda de Animales, a tribute honoring animals that have passed.
Zoo Boo! will also feature daily trick-or-treating from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at six stations throughout the zoo.
On Halloween, the zoo said it will be open until 9 p.m., with special activities throughout the day and evening.
Zoo Boo! is included with standard zoo admission and free for San Antonio Zoo members.
