3 people hospitalized after crash on Zarzamora Road

Police say driver ran red light

SAN ANTONIO – Three people were taken to a hospital following a crash on the city's West Side early Sunday morning. 

According to San Antonio police, a black car ran a red light at the intersection of North Zarzamora Street and West Woodlawn Avenue and "T-boned" a green pickup truck. 

The driver and passenger of the car were taken to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck suffered from a broken ankle and was also taken to the hospital for treatment. 

Police said charges will be filed against the driver of the black car.
