ST. CHARLES COUNTY – Kaine Louzader, 20, is accused of killing and dismembering at least a dozen cats and kittens he acquired through Craigslist, according to charges filed in St. Charles County in Missouri.
Louzader is facing two counts of felonious animal abuse, and more charges are expected.

The charges are considered felonies and not misdemeanors due to the cats being alive while they were tortured, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
St. Charles County police Sgt. Jeff Ochs said Louzader admitted to getting cats and kittens from Craigslist.
According to an affidavit, Louzader would stomp on the heads of the felines and strangle them in a bathtub or on the patio of his grandparents' home, where he also lives.
Louzader would allegedly cut the heads and limbs off the animals and dump them on the street near his home, according to Ochs.
He is being held on a $50,000 bond, according to St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
