SAN ANTONIO – A man suspected of robbing several Family Dollar and Dollar General stores is behind bars.
Andrew Ward was arrested and charged with robbery.

Arrest records said Ward has been wanted since Nov. 12. Police said that’s when he entered Dollar General in the 100 block of Goliad Road, jumped the counter and demanded the cash in the register.
The San Antonio Police Department’s robbery task force was able to arrest Ward using surveillance video evidence.
Arrest records said Ward also matches the description of the suspect in several other robberies.
