SAN ANTONIO – A man is in custody after leading deputies on a 45-minute high-speed chase through three counties early Saturday morning.
The chase started in Blanco County when the man got onto Highway 281. Deputies said he took Highway 281 through Comal County into Bexar County, prompting Bexar County Sheriff's Deputies to join the chase.

Deputies reached speeds of 120 mph during the chase.
The man finally exited at Hildebrand toward Broadway and turned onto North New Braunfels when he jumped a curb, went through a fence at the San Antonio Country Club's golf course and hit a tree.
Deputies said the suspect, who is in his late 20s or early 30s, tried to run away, but he was caught with the assistance of the Department of Public Safety's helicopter.
