SAN ANTONIO – A 48-year-old man was arrested Tuesday in connection with the 2015 shooting death of his business partner.
David Gomez was arrested without incident at his automotive shop in the 900 block of Bitters Road, where police said he killed Isaac Flores.

San Antonio police spokeswoman Sgt. Michelle Ramos said Gomez called police the night of April 15, 2015, and told them that Flores was upset and headed to the auto shop.

Gomez called police a second time and told them that he shot Flores in self-defense following a physical confrontation, Ramos said.
The case was sent to the Bexar County District Attorney's Office, which found several inconsistencies with Gomez's statement to police.
A grand jury indicted Gomez and an arrest warrant was issued, Ramos said.
