SAN ANTONIO – A man was taken to an area hospital after being found wounded overnight, San Antonio police said.
Police responded around 12:30 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of Hortencia Avenue, not far from Culebra Road on the city's West Side.
Police said when they arrived they found a man with a laceration to the head. The injured man was not very cooperative with officers and would not say how he was hurt, police said.

The man was taken to University Hospital where he is expected to recover.
With limited information to go on, police say no arrests have been made.
