SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police said a man is in the hospital after being shot overnight.
The shooting occurred around 5:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of West Hollywood Avenue, found not far from West Hildebrand and Fredericksburg Road.

According to police, a woman called saying that a man had been shot in the leg by someone wearing all black. Police said they questioned witnesses about the circumstances, but additional information was not given.
The victim was taken to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said both the suspect and a friend fled the scene. So far no arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
