SAN ANTONIO – A man was taken to the hospital after he was hit by a train overnight, San Antonio police said Monday.
The accident happened just before 11 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of West Lone Star Boulevard.

According to police, the man had fallen asleep on the train tracks and could not move away fast enough.

The man was taken to University Hospital for his injuries. His condition is not currently known.
