Man hospitalized after shooting at Northeast Side motel, police say

SAN ANTONIO – A man in the hospital after being shot twice following an argument at a Northeast Side motel, police said.

Police said the shooting happened just after 9 p.m. Thursday at the Red Roof Inn off Interstate 10 near W. W. White Road.

Police said the man went to the shooter’s hotel room and broke a window. The shooter then walked out of the room and fired at the man at least nine times, police said.

The man was hit in the leg and arm and was taken to a hospital.

Police said the accused shooter drove off in a white SUV with his 7- and 9-year-old daughters. The mother was also inside the hotel room during the shooting, according to police.
