Man shot in drive-by on West Side identified

Harvey Lozano, 19, was killed Monday

SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the name of the person killed in a drive-by shooting on the city's West Side.

Harvey Lozano, 19, was shot and killed around 2 p.m. 4900 block of Fortuna Street near Hortencia.

Family members said someone followed him home and when he approached the driver he was shot several times. 

Police Chief William McManus said the shooting appears to be gang-related, however Lozano's uncle said he was not affiliated with any gang.

Police are still looking for the person or persons responsible.

A man shot in a a drive-by shooting Monday afternoon has died and San Antonio police continue to look for the two men responsible.

The shooting occurred around 2 p.m. in the 4900 block of Fortuna Street, found on the city's West Side.

Police said when they arrived at the scene they found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police Chief William McManus said two men exchanged looks with the victim before the shooting, and that they are now looking for two specific men.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he later died.

McManus said the shooting appears to be gang-related.

The name of the victim has yet to be released.
