BEXAR COUNTY – An early morning shooting left a man in critical condition and Bexar County deputies searching for his attackers.
That shooting happened just after 1 a.m. Sunday in the 19000 block of Hwy. 16 near Helotes.

The victim told investigators someone drove by and fired shots from his driveway.
The bullets struck the victim multiple times in the chest.
AirLife transported him the University Hospital in critical condition.
Deputies found shell casings in the driveway.
They're now trying to determine who fired those shots and why.
