SAN ANTONIO – A 31-year-old man was stabbed Wednesday morning in a motel parking lot on the city's Southeast Side.
Police were called to a Motel 6 around 6:45 a.m. at Interstate 37 and Hot Wells Boulevard, where they found the victim with stab wounds to his back.

The victim's girlfriend told officers that he was changing a car tire that had been slashed when three men wearing masks approached them.
The men and the victim got into a confrontation that ended with the man being stabbed, police said.
The victim was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.
The men got away in a black vehicle, police said.
