Suspect arrested after man stabbed, robbed

Victim in critical condition

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police have a suspect in custody matching the description of an armed robber who stabbed a man early Saturday morning. 

The attack happened around 12:50 a.m. Police said a man was walking in an alley near a shopping center in the 12700 block of West Interstate 10. The man told police another man approached him and asked for the time. After he told him the time, the man walked away, but came back and hit him in the head. 

According to police, the attacker stabbed the man multiple times and demanded his money and belongings. 

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition, though he was able to describe the man who attacked him. Police used that description to apprehend a man in the area.
