SEGUIN, Texas – A man accused of leading Seguin police on a chase is facing charges.
Police said the incident started with a traffic stop. They said instead of pulling over, Michael Ray Valdez, 26, drove off in his pickup truck.

Valdez drove through some neighborhoods, but eventually jumped out of the moving truck. The truck crashed into a utility pole and several mailboxes.
Policed chased after Valdez on foot and finally used a stun gun to stop him. He was arrested and charged with evading arrest detention with vehicle and evading arrest detention.
