SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office on Monday released the identity of a man who police said fatally shot himself following a house fire on the city's far Northwest Side.
The man was identified as Steven Moring, 58.

Police said Moring shot himself in the front yard of his home around 4 p.m. Sunday in the 8500 block of Pendragon shortly after an explosion and fire at the home.
Several neighbors told KSAT 12 News that Moring was going through a divorce.
"I understand they were going through a real bad divorce. That might be something (to do) with it," neighbor Ralph Kelley said.
No one else was home at the time.
The fire is being investigated as arson.
