SAN ANTONIO – A new call center is opening up in San Antonio that could have many people scrambling for jobs to pick up the phone.
GM Financial is unveiling its new 100,000-square-foot facility on the city's far west side just behind Christus Santa Rosa-Westover Hills off Highway 151.

Offering amenities like a gym, game room and a cafe, the new facility is not your regular call center. Some of the updated features are meant to attract a younger crowd looking for more than just a job.
"The millennials want a good work-life balance," GM Financial CEO Dan Berce said. "They want the amenities like a gym and a cafeteria and all the things we provide them. It's really helped in attracting people."
"Me personally, I know I want to work somewhere that I'm going to enjoy being there, not only for the work that I'm going to do, but for the surrounding setting that I'm going to be at," San Antonio College student Alejandro Martinez said.
The service center has already hired 200 employees but can grow by an additional 500.
